A dream come true!

What started out as pieces and parts of a story written daily on my sons’ brown paper lunch bags—featuring a hilarious talking dog—has, over the years, transformed into a rich tale of mystery, heart, and adventure. Tails of Time Travel is a story born from love, laughter, and imagination, now brought to life for readers of all ages to enjoy.

"One mystery. Two families. Three centuries in the past."

Step into the past with Apples, the time-traveling Queen of Dog-World, and join the Heron family—Chet, Betty, and their kids Christopher, Charlie, and Emma—as they tumble through time on a journey that’s anything but ordinary 300 years into the past! There, in a world far different from their own, the Herons team up with a Native American family to unravel a centuries-old mystery that could change everything.

As secrets are uncovered and friendships are forged across time, the Herons must rely on courage, kindness, and a whole lot of Apples’ cleverness to help their new friends—and maybe even discover a deeper purpose for their time-traveling adventures. Tails of Time Travel is a whimsical, heartfelt journey for readers of all ages who believe in family, history, and the magic of time, outside of time.
